Marigold - Ring of prosperity

A GIRL CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MANY DIAMONDS!

What better way to ring in the New Year than with the dazzling, record-breaking Ring of Prosperity? We all know that there’s no such thing as too many diamonds, but Renani Jewels from Meerut, India, just took it to a whole new level! Their Marigold Ring, or Ring of Prosperity, has been awarded the Guinness World Record for the Most Diamonds in a Single Ring. Exciting, right? It’s not every day that Guinness World Records are set in jewellery, after all.

BUT HOW MANY DIAMONDS CAN A SINGLE RING POSSIBLY HOLD?

We’re glad you asked. The answer is an astounding 12,638 diamonds! Interestingly, each individual petal of the eight-layered floral design is unique. No two petals are identical, adding to the organic beauty of the design. The ring weighs a little above 165g and 38.08 cts natural diamonds were used in it. Diamonds used in the ring are of E/F colour and VVS quality ensuring that a remarkable piece such as this has only the best quality of natural diamonds. The ring has also been certified by the International Gemological Institute (IGI). It is said to be both wearable and comfortable.

A SYMBOL OF PROSPERITY & GOOD FORTUNE

Founder of Renani Jewels, Harshit Bansal, said it was his dream project and took three years to complete, from concept to design to final creation. Bansal said he had been thinking of ideas for a long time when he was inspired by a marigold in his garden. In Indian culture, marigolds symbolize prosperity and good fortune. The perfect note to start this year on!
