Faeber Studio

Aliza Guttman is the founder and designer behind Faeber Studio. She believes that design thrives on hands-on, process-driven development. Her tactile and exploratory approach to jewelry design involves meticulously working and reworking ideas physically, allowing her to fine-tune even the minutest details to achieve impeccable visual harmony. All Faeber creations are handcrafted, sustainable, and independently made, with the sentiment “we make things you’ll have forever” reflected in every piece.

Aliza draws inspiration from her diverse experiences. She cultivated her metalsmithing skills in Colorado, refined her craft in California, earned her degree at the Savannah College of Art and Design and worked in fashion in NYC. She has consulted for renowned brands such as Coach, Monique Péan, and Foundrae and earned recognition with the 2015 CFDA Design+ award and the 2022 SCAD Alumni Atelier Recipient.

With a portfolio including jewelry worn by Michelle Obama, Alicia Silverstone, and Eddie Redmayne, Aliza brings her artistic vision back to her mountain roots. Most days find her in her Burlington, Vermont studio, accompanied by her loyal assistant, Sasha the dog.

Aliza founded Faeber in 2016 as a jewelry label dedicated to elevating the synergy between fine craft and design. Using a process-oriented approach to enhance design and visual impact, every design is meticulously developed by hand within the studio and fabricated for production by artisans in New York’s diamond district using traditional techniques passed down for generations. Committed to sustainability and conscious consumerism, Faeber diligently verifies the origins of all materials – metals, stones, and accents are upcycled, deadstock, or fair mined.
