Founded by mother-and-daughter duo, Stalo and Alexia Karides, YSSO combines Stalo's three decades of jewelry making expertise with Alexia's creative vision. Rooted in heritage, YSSO jewelry reflects a timeless Greek-inspired aesthetic. Together, Stalo and Alexia personally design each jewel, always beginning their design process at the place where emotion meets function. They draw cultural inspiration from their lives in France and the UK. They create for the modern woman with an international lifestyle and penchant for design. The designers believe jewelry is a canvas for personal expression, capable of carrying memories and stories. Inspired by the Japanese concept of Wabi-sabi, YSSO embraces authenticity and finding beauty in imperfection. Individuality and uniqueness shine through in the bold, sculptural and asymmetrical designs.

Sculpting holds a profound significance and is connected to the soul of the brand. Using a direct sculpting process, each design evolves organically, molded and shaped to epitomize natural beauty. The brand actively revives traditional craftsmanship, collaborating exclusively with Athenian workshops to preserve the cultural significance of Greek jewelry making. Every YSSO piece is hand-carved and crafted in Greece. Creating with empathy and mindfulness is paramount.
